Chase High School proudly commemorated International Women's Day with a series of events aimed at celebrating the invaluable contributions of women throughout history. Each day of the week began with an assembly that highlighted the significance of gender equality and the achievements of women who have paved the way for future generations. This year, was a focus on inspiring women who, despite their remarkable accomplishments, remain largely unrecognised by society.

In the classroom, pupils participated in various activities centred around International Women's Day, with discussions about struggles and triumphs, which encouraged pupils to appreciate the diverse experiences of women across different industries, cultures and eras. This educational approach not only broadened the pupils' understanding, but inspired them to think critically about the role of women in shaping our world.

Additionally, in a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, pupils were also given the opportunity to select a woman who inspires them and present her with a bouquet of daffodils, symbolising respect and admiration, reinforcing the importance of celebrating influential women, both past and present, in the community.
